Troma Entertainment is an independent film and media production company that specializes in horror, cult, camp and parodies. The studio is owned and operated by long-time filmmaker and pop culture icon Lloyd Kaufman from Long Island City, in Queens, New York. Some of Troma’s notable titles include The Toxic Avenger series of films, Class of Nuke’Em High and Poultrygiest.

Troma also sponsors a variety of pop culture events, such as Troma Entertainment’s TROMAmerican Summer in 2016 and the ongoing TromaDance Film Festival, which has taken place in Utah, New Jersey and Brooklyn, New York.
