The acclaimed soundtrack to Alejandro G Inarritu‘s The Revenant is finally getting the proper vinyl treatment. The beautiful score composed by Ryuichi Sakamoto, Alva Noto and Bryce Dessner has been mastered for vinyl only and is presented in a tip-on gatefold jacket featuring an original photo by Academy Award winner cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki. The two 180gm pressed LPs are presented in “ice snow” and “blue river” color.

This vinyl release also includes a digital download card.

The Revenant centers on a frontiersman on a fur trading expedition in the 1820s who fights for survival after being mauled by a bear and left for dead by members of his own hunting team.
