Popular crime series Columbo centered on Los Angeles homicide detective Lieutenant Columbo (Peter Falk), who uses his humble ways and unique demeanor to unravel out even the most well-planned crimes. Columbo originally premiered on NBC Television on September 15, 1971. The series later moved to ABC in 1989, where is ran for nine additional seasons. Columbo continues to run in syndication, most recently on COZI TV. Other than Peter Falk, many cast members only appeared in a single episode or two, and included appearances by many big stars of the era, such as Mike Lally, Dianne Travis, Bruce Kirby, John Finnegan, Fred Draper, Vito Scotti, Val Avery, Jack Cassidy, Robert Culp, Arlene Martel, Richard Stahl, Victor Izay, Jerome Guardino, Cliff Carnell, Harvey Gold, Jimmy Joyce, Dennis Robertson, Manuel DePina, Bart Burns, Frank Baxter, George Sawaya, Patrick McGoohan, Robert Vaughn, Ray Milland, Wilfrid Hyde-White, Bob Dishy, Anne Francis, Jeanette Nolan, Mariette Hartley and Ida Lupino.
