Jude Law finds gold with Last King of Scotland director

Focus Features has revealed the first trailer for the upcoming Jude Law thriller Black Sea, helmed by The Last King of Scotland director Kevin Macdonald.

Black Sea centers on a submarine captain named Robinson (Jude Law) who – in order to make amends with his former employers – takes a job with a shadowy backer to search the depths of the Black Sea for a sunken Nazi submarine that’s rumored to be filled with gold bars. Black Sea also stars Scoot McNairy, Jodie Whittaker, June Smith, Ben Mendelsohn, Grigoriy Dobrygin, Michael Smiley, Paulina Boneva, Karl Davies, Konstantin Khabenskiy, Daniel Ryan, Branwell Donaghey, Bobby Schofield, Georg Nikoloff, Stephen McDade, Llewella Gideon, Mihai Arsene, Gus Barry, Sergey Puskepalis, Paul Terry, Sergei Kolesnikov and Yuri Klimov.

Black Sea is slated for US release on January 23rd, 2015.
