Fox recently released the U.S. trailer for the Mexican crime thriller Miss Bala, which tells the story of a young woman clinging on to her dream to become a beauty contest queen in a country dominated by organized crime. Miss Bala was directed by young Mexican talent Gerardo Naranjo, and counts among its producers Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna. The film stars Stephanie Sigman, Irene Azuela, Miguel Couturier, Gabriel Heads, Noe Hernandez, James Russo and Jose Yenque.
Miss Bala will screen this evening at 9 PM during the New York Film Festival, and will begin a limited U.S. release on October 14th.
