One of the biggest movie-related panels that will take place during New York Comic-Con 2011, is certainly the Lucasfilm Red Tails event, which will bring together actors from the film, artists from world-renowned visual effects company Industrial Light & Magic, along with a real American hero – one of the original Tuskegee Airman.
The Anthony Hemingway-directed, George Lucas-produced Red Tails – a high-flying action epic inspired by the heroic exploits of the first all African-American aerial combat unit – is set to fly into theaters on January 20, 2012. An inspirational action film, Red Tails tells the story of exceptional young men who triumph over incredible odds to become the top gun pilots known as the Tuskegee Airmen. Be among the very first to see an exclusive spine-tingling dogfight sequence from the movie. Miles Perkins, Director of Marketing and Communications for ILM, moderates as the group discusses what it was like to act, create and live the action of an aerial dogfight.
Red Tails features an ensemble cast including Terrence Howard, Michael B. Jordan, Bryan Cranston, Josh Dallas, Cuba Gooding Jr., Daniela Ruah, Gerald McRaney, David Oyelowo, Lee Tergesen, Tristan Wilds, Andre Royo, Ne-Yo, Method Man, Theo James, Aml Ameen, Elijah Kelley, Robert Kazinsky, Matthew Leitch, Marcus T. Paulk and Nate Parker.
