I’m posting this early because I know some of you will be doing your Halloween partying this weekend. We’re having our first-ever FilmFetish Costume Fest, which is really an excuse to celebrate the best holiday of the year, and have a little fun at the same time. To spice things up a bit, we’ll be giving away free DVDs and other movie swag.

Here are the prizes & categories:

Best Overall Costume: Winner will receive Farscape: The Complete Series 26-disc DVD set, a copy of the book True Blood and Philosophy AND Stargate SGU 1.5 3-disc DVD set (SGU set includes $10 DVD credit towards a future purchase)
Best Male Costume: Winner will receive Life After People: The Complete Season Two 3-disc DVD set
Best Female Costume: Winner will receive Life After People: The Complete Season Two 3-disc DVD set

Entries will be displayed on FilmFetish.com and MyFantasyArt.com, and be judged on originality and creativity. We will also take public voting into account (so after you upload your photos, make sure to use the share buttons and get your friends to vote for you).

For this special contest only, you do not have to be a member of the FilmFetish mailing list in order to have a chance to win prizes.

Only one entry per person. However, we encourage you submit two photos of yourself in costume (see below for instructions).

Instructions

Visit the FilmFetish Costume Fest 2010 Photo Gallery HERE and click the “Submit Your Photo” link. Your may enter up to 2 photos, including: A headshot from about the shoulders up, and; A full body shot from head to toe. You should be the only person in each photograph.
Fill in the “Caption” field on the upload form with your first name, last initial, and what state your from, for Example “Joseph F., Michigan” (Ignore all the other fields).
Email the “Caption” information you submitted with your photo (or 2 photos) to updates@filmfetish.net.

Winners will be emailed requests their mailing addresses for prize fulfillment.

You can submit photos in the FilmFetish Costume Fest until November 10, 2010, and public voting will be considered until November 15th, when winners will be chosen.
