During the Kid’s Choice Awards this past weekend, a brand new TV spot for Iron Man 2 appeared, featuring some new footage of Robert Downey Jr as the namesake superhero, along with Don Cheadle in full War Machine garb, Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff a.k.a. Black Widow, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
In Iron Man 2, the world is fully aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Downey Jr) is Iron Man. Under pressure from the government, the press and the public to share his technology with the military, Stark is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands. With Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and Col. James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes (Cheadle) at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces.
In Iron Man 2 is again being directed by Jon Favreau and is set to hit theaters and IMAX theaters on May 7th.
