Empire has released new photos from the upcoming remake of Clash of the Titans, featuring Sam Worthington’s Perseus, along with a variety of creatures.
Transporter 2 and The Incredible Hulk director Louis Leterrier is at the helm of the new film, which hits theaters on March 26, 2010, also starring Liam Neeson as Zeus, Ralph Fiennes as Hades, Luke Evans as Apollo, Izabella Miko as Athena, Polly Walker as Cassiopeia, Danny Huston as Poseidon, Alexa Davalos as Andromeda, Tamer Hassan as the God of War, Nathalie Cox as Artemis, along with Gemma Arterton, Nicholas Hoult, Mads Mikkelsen, Jason Flemyng, Pete Postlethwaite, Vincent Regan, Liam Cunningham, Hans Matheson, Ian Whyte, Luke Treadaway, William Houston, Jamie Sives and Martin McCann.
Clash of the Titans is a remake of the Desmond Davis 1981 cult classic version of the myth of Perseus and his quest to battle both Medusa and the Kraken monster in order to save the Princess Andromeda. of course the original film is known for the use of Ray Harryhausen’s groundbreaking visual effects.
