Sideshow Collectibles has posted images from their upcoming line of Avatar collectibles. Launching the Sideshow Collectibles line from James Cameron’s sci-fi epic Avatar is the AMP Suit Maquette featuring actor Stephen Lang’s baddie Col. Quaritch, created in conjunction with the film’s special effects studio Legacy Effects. The piece was created directly from 3D scans of the 14-foot suit used by Legacy during the filming of Avatar, making the AMP Suit a truly authentic scaled representation.

James Cameron’s Avatar also stars Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Zoe Saldana, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel Moore, CCH Pounder, James Pitt, Laz Alonso, Wes Studi, Amy Clover, Sean Patrick Murphy, Dileep Rao, Matt Gerald, Peter Mensah, Julene Renee, Peter Dillon, Jacob Tomuri, Sean Anthony Moran, Kevin Dorman, Scott Lawrence, Dean Knowsley, Sean Moran, and will be in theaters on December 18, 2009.
