ShockTillYouDrop reports that Paul W.S. Anderson, who revealed late last year that he was working on a script for a fourth Resident Evil movie, has received a green light and rush rush, from Sony. According to the report, Sony is looking to get the new film, tentatively titled Resident Evil: Afterlife, into theaters by September 17, 2010. That’s according to a source who apparently has access to internal memos circulating through the offices.
No word on who will direct the new film. The last outing, Resident Evil: Extinction, was helmed by Russell Mulcahy (Highlander).
According to a separate article, Milla Jovovich is likely to return as Alice for the new film, according to a short video interview RIGHT HERE.
