Marion Cotillard (A Good Year), Cillian Murphy (28 Days Later, Red Eye) and Ellen Page (Juno) are all in discussions to join Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan’s sci-fi thriller Inception, which he is writing and directing. Leonardo DiCaprio is already attached to star in the film.
Production on the film starts this summer for a 2010 release.
The storyline has been under wraps, with Warner Bros. describing the project as a contemporary sci-fi action film set within the architecture of the mind.
Murphy recently completed the thriller Peacock along with Ellen Page, as well as the crime drama Perrier’s Bounty. Cotillard will next be seen in the Michael Mann historical crime thriller Public Enemies and just completed the Rob Marshall musical Nine. Page is also finishing up the film Whip It! about an indie-rock loving misfit who finds a way of dealing with her small-town misery, after discovering a roller derby league in Austin, Texas.
