USA Today has posted the first two pictures of Angelina Jolie in disguise as CIA operative Evelyn A. Salt, in the Phillip Noyce-directed Salt.
The article says that Jolie began work a few days ago on the spy thriller, which follows a rogue CIA operative attempting to clear her name after she’s accused of being a Russian sleeper agent.
Among her many different looks in the film are an all-business blonde and a raven-haired femme fatale who easily could be concealing a dagger or a gun. Jolie’s character was originally was named Edwin A. Salt, back when the role was intended for Tom Cruise, who dropped out of the project last summer.
Salt co-stars Liev Schreiber as Winter, her ally and supervisor in the CIA’s Russia office, and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Peabody, a counterintelligence officer looking to take her down.
