Edi Gathegi, Rachelle Lefevre, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz talk vampire sequel New Moon

With New Moon set for a U.S. release date of November 20, 2009 – yes 2009 – cast member Edi Gathegi confirmed in an interview with Collider.com just last night, that many of the cast haven’t even seen the script yet.

He also confirmed that New Moon will begin lensing in March on location on Vancouver and Italy.

Gathegi, along with Twilight and its upcoming sequel’s cast members Rachelle Lefevre, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz were at the L.A. premiere for Summit Entertainment’s sci-fi thriller Push and talked up the franchise with the website. Gathegi will be returning as the dreadlocked Frenchman Laurent.

Rachelle Lefevre will also be in Vancouver when shooting begins in mid-March, returning as the evil vamp Victoria, looking to get another crack at Bella (Kristen Stewart). Think she’s not evil. Check out this excerpt from a character bio on Victoria:
