Last day for mailed tix to NY Comic-Con; also, Fringe/Heroes stars, Joss Whedon to appear

Today is the last day to purchase tickets by mail for New York Comic-Con (NYCC), and still receive them in the mail before the show. After today, you will still be able to purchase tickets online presumably, however, they will not be mailed, so you’ll have to wait in some very long lines at the event.

Visit www.nycomiccon.com to purchase tickets to the event before midnight tonight (1/16/09).

I also just read on show organizer Lance Fensterman’s blog that members of the cast of Fringe will be hosting a panel at the con, lead by cast members John Noble (Dr. Walter Bishop) and Jasika Nicole (Astrid Farnsworth). There will also be an exclusive video presentation created specifically for NYCC.

Additionally, Milo Ventimiglia from Heroes, will be returning to New York Comic Con. Ventimiglia will be doing a panel with his DiVide Pictures partner, Russ Cundiff, writer Rick Loverd and artist Jeremy Haun, on their upcoming comic, Berserker.

Everyone who attends the panel will get a special pass that will entitle them to a limited signing at the Top Cow booth with the panelists after the session.
