Trailer for Mickey Rourke film The Wrestler

There’s been so much buzz surrounding Darren Aronofsky’s new film The Wrestler, ever since it premiered at the Venice Film Festival back in September, where is won the Golden Lion.

The Wrestler follows the story of a retired professional wrestler named Randy “The Ram” Robinson (Mickey Rourke), as he makes his way through the independent wrestling circuit, trying to get back in the game for one final showdown with his former rival. Meanwhile, he attempts to work his way back into the life of his daughter (played by Evan Rachel Wood) and connect with Marisa Tomei.

The film also features Mark Margolis, Todd Barry, Wass Stevens, Judah Friedlander, Scott Brumberg, Ernest Miller, Dylan Keith Summers, Tommy Farra and Mike Miller.
