Two more clips from the next James Bond action-fest, Quantum of Solace, have turned up online. The clips give hints to who Daniel Craig will align himself to, in order to meet his objective in the film – that being revenge.
Quantum of Solace follows James Bond, as he sets out to stop an environmentalist from taking control of a country’s water supply. The Marc Forster (Monster’s Ball, Stranger Than Fiction)-directed film also stars Mathieu Amalric, Judi Dench, Gemma Arterton, Olga Kurylenko, Jeffrey Wright, Rachel McDowall, Stana Katic, Giancarlo Giannini, Oona Chaplin, Jesper Christensen, Neil Jackson, Tim Pigott-Smith, Tracy Redington, Anatole Taubman and Rory Kinnear. It will hit theaters on November 14, 2008.
Film Fetish Trivia: Jeffrey Wright is the first actor to play Bond’s CIA ally Felix Leiter in two consecutive Bond films (the first being the 2006 film Casino Royale). It’s only the second time that an actor has played the Leiter twice. The first was David Hedison (Megiddo: The Omega Code 2), who played him in 1973’s Live and Let Die and 1989’s Licence to Kill. Wright is also the second African-American Felix Leiter. The first was actor Bernie Casey, who portrayed him in the 1983 Warner Brothers’ Bond flick, Never Say Never Again. Casey is famous for the 1970s movies Cornbread, Earl and Me, Cleopatra Jones and Martin Scorsese’s 1972 feature debut Boxcar Bertha.
