Seven Arts opens new post facility to be used for Night of the Demons remake

Seven Arts Pictures announced the opening of Seven Arts Pictures Louisiana, a production and post-production facility recently purchased in the city of New Orleans, at 807 Esplanade.

The newly acquired production facility is located in the historic Faubourg Marigny District of New Orleans, immediately adjacent to the famous French Quarter. The Property was at one time the largest mansion in the French Quarter district. Seven Arts will offer extensive film post-production services supported by state-of-the-art technology.

The company anticipates opening for initial operations in October and to be ready in time for post-production of Night of the Demons, a Seven Arts film scheduled for completion by June of 2009.

Adam Gierasch directed the upcoming Night of the Demons remake, which is based on the 1988 Kevin Tenney film about a group of kids who go to a Halloween party, and have to face down a pack of viscous of demons.

The new films stars Shannon Elizabeth, Monica Keena, Michael Copon, Diora Baird, Tiffany Shepis, Bobbi Sue Luther and John F. Beach.
