Lucy Liu and Michael Chiklis (The Shield) star in Rise: Blood Hunter, which is being produced by the same studio that hatched the U.S. remake of The Grudge. In Rise, Liu plays a female reporter who vows revenge against a vampire sect that put her in a morgue, when she herself becomes a member of the undead.
Rise will be in limited release starting this Friday June 1, 2007.
