Other projects on Rocky’s plate include Rambo IV: Pearl of the Cobra, in which Rambo, after living a secluded lifestyle in Bangkok, is called to action yet again, when a group of volunteer aid workers disappear, and a relative of one of the missing begs Rambo to find them, along with a small team of aspiring heroes. He is also scheduled to helm the sequel.
Stallone is also set to star in and direct a film called Notorious, revolving around the deaths of rappers Biggie Smalls and Tupac Shakur, and the L.A. Police Department corruption scandal that lurks beneath the story. Stallone will play LAPD detective Russell Poole, who was a key figure in exposing the corruption in the LAPD’s Rampart division. His version of events were key to theories that say Biggie and Tupac were killed as part of a gang/police/rap power triangle.
