The Quiet is a thriller directed by Jamie Babbit (Itty Bitty Titty Committee), about a young deaf and mute woman named Dot, who is sent to live with her godparents and their daughter. The new addition to the household realizes that everything is not normal in the home, and the family’s dark secrets begin to come to light. The Quiet hits theaters in August 25, 2006.
