Just as producer Timur Bekmambetov’s 9 hits theaters, Focus Features is sponsoring a pretty cool contest for fans of his action thriller Wanted. Focus’ online community website, http://www.filminfocus.com, is giving you a chance to win a walk on role in Bekmambetov’s upcoming Wanted sequel. I know sounds like a snowball’s chance in hell right? Well, they’re also giving “9” (get it) runner-up winners a Special Edition 9 book and the soundtrack to 9, which features Deborah Lurie and Danny Elfman.

So to recap, one lucky prize winner will receive:

A walk on role in Timur Bekmambetov’s Wanted 2
Round trip airfare for 2 to and from shooting location (TBD)

According to reports, Michael Brandt and Derek Haas, who penned the screenplay for the first movie, are writing the Wanted sequel, and the film is due in theaters sometime in 2011.

James McAvoy is set to return as sickly office-geek turned cold-blooded assassin Wesley Gibson, and apparently Angelina Jolie, who played Fox, is rumored to somehow be resurrected from her own self-assassination.
